You have both Yahoo mail and Gmail account and most of the time you like to access Gmail then you can configure the Yahoo mail settings to obtain the Yahoo mails in your Gmail account. This will enable you to access all emails of yahoo mail or Gmail in one place.

This process involves the following steps:

  • Sign in to your Yahoo mail account and spot the gear button on the upper right corner of the screen. On clicking it you will find settings. Click settings.
  • Now click on “Accounts” and then select Yahoo mail on the right side of the screen.
  • Here you will find the forward option under the heading “Forward: Your mail is forwarded to the specified address, so you can check it there”.
  • Select the option and then put the Gmail address and verify. After the successful verification, click on “Store and Forward”.
  • If the pop-up option is blocked in your Yahoo mail account then you have to allow the pop-up option. Generally, a verification pop-up will come out automatically when you will click on verify in Step 3 above.
  • If it is not appearing that means the pop-up option is blocked. So, you need to allow it from the right end of the address bar where the blocked pop-up icon will be shown.
  • A verification message will be sent to your Gmail address. You have to check your Gmail account for the message.
